Meet the team
Lindsay John Curran
Lindsay has over 40 years of clinical engineering experience having sales management, marketing and general management experience with Marcus Medical, Alaris Medical Systems, Cardinal Health, Carefusion Inc, Smith & Nephew and Grobir Medical before venturing into manufacturing.
Lindsay was part of the technical committee at SABS (SANS) in Pretoria tasked with developing the SANS specifications for disposable gravity infusion administration sets (SANS 1775:1999) and needle free devices. He served as Chairman of the South African Medical Device Association (SAMED) committee tasked with formulating the Code of Business Practice for the medical devices industry. Currently a committee Member of Medical Devices Manufacturing of South Africa (MDMSA) and a founding member of The Western Cape Medical Devices Cluster (WCMDC)
Marisa Curran
Marisa is a Professional Nurse with over 35 years of clinical experience since qualifying in General Nursing and Midwifery at Tygerberg Hospital. She then completed a post-graduate diploma in Community Health at CPUT, followed by a post-graduate qualification in Administration at the University of Stellenbosch.
She worked at various places in the Helderberg region and currently maintains her clinical knowledge and skills through working at Viva Medical.
